God's promises never fall short

If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is. (2 Timothy 2:13 NLT)

Even when we fall short with trusting God ....he still remains faithful with us!!

Living with God's Focus in mind

We know the past cannot be changed, yet we often dwell in past regrets. Lord...teach me to keep focus on you and what you are doing now. I don't want to live in a state of "I should have or I wish I could have" moments. I want to live in the moment with you 

Submission is not bad

“Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. (Job 22:21 NLT)

I have learned that submission is not a "negative" word; especially in reference to God. We often think when we submit to someone we are giving something up, but I would challenge this thinking by stating that submission is not giving something up, but rather giving into someone who knows more than you! I would rather submit to God and obtain his blessings, instead of holding onto things that never last! 

Stand firm on God's words

The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. (Psalms 119:160 NLT)

Listen to God's words!! Don't be discouraged by the words of others who speak lies or discouragement. People with broken hearts tend to wallow in their misery instead of looking for redemption in the One true Savior. Stand on God's truth and know that the only affirmation you need comes from him 

Reactions with God's righteousness

Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. (James 1:20 NLT)

God help me be patient with people. I tend to allow their actions dictate my reactions and I want your Righteousness to dictate my reactions and NOT my human inadequacies. 

What you put in your Heart will come out

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Luke 6:45 NIV)

Remember what we allow in our hearts will direct our decisions! Make sure God is at the center of the heart

God's promises are Solid

Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. (Isaiah 26:4 NLT)

There is nothing more Dependable than God's promises. He is solid and will never wither away!
