Inner turmoil

Lord you are the foundation of life. I'm thankful for your strength as I struggle each day with life turmoil. Help me focus my thoughts on you and not the turmoil I'm experiencing 

Find safety in the Lord

Lord you are my daily strength...my ever present need in trouble...I find safety in your embrace.... Remind me to run to you with no hesitation 

Healthy Fear of the Lord

“All you who fear the LORD, trust the LORD! He is your helper and your shield.”

Psalms 115:11 NLT

Lord help me understand there is a healthy fear in you. Not all fear is wrong. When I fear, I want to turn to you with my problems and know that you always resolve all my issues. Help me understand that my fear to this world is misplaced, since you are the ultimate protector.....I have nothing to fear

Lord, Correct my heart

Lord show me heart and correct the things in my life that need correcting 

Seek God in all your ways

Lord I want to seek you in all my ways. I want to be led by you. Help me put aside my desires to be fulfilled with yours 

Planning your actions with God's direction

“Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.”

God help me each day to focus my plans on you. Direct each step so my actions honor you 

Claimed by God

Lord I want to be controlled by you! I want to have a life full of meaning and purpose. I want to live each moment knowing I've been claimed by your love 

Seek God for answers

“I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By your mighty power you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies.”

Psalms 17:6-7 NLT

God, your love is wonderful and we can can seek you in all things and know you will always answer. Help us understand that we might not understand your reasoning and purpose, but remind us that you have never failed us 

Lies will be exposed

“Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed.”

Proverbs 12:19 NLT

God remind me that all lies no matter what they are, always are exposed. Help me learn to use truthful words as I speak and truthful actions as I move 

We belong to God

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.”

John 10:28-29 NLT

Thank you Lord for always allowing us to be yours. Thank you for ensuring that we learned of you and come to have a personal relationship with you. 

God's ultimate plan

“God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.”

As Christians we gladly wait for this day to be fulfilled. My prayer is that as we wait patiently for the Lord, we make every moment count on earth. I pray that our lives are reflections of God's promises

Be Brave

“Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.”

Lord help me be patient as I become anxious with my daily struggles. Show me the courage required to move forward 

Being blessed by following God's ways

Lord I want to honor you each day with each moment and each decision. Help me follow your ways so I can Truly see the blessings waiting for me 

Expose me Lord

Lord, allow your word to expose me each day. Help me to see what I refuse to see in my life that needs cleansing. Guide me towards a path that leads me to you

Praise the Lord through ever step

Lord thank you for each moment in time! Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. I want to praise you in all my steps of life 

You are God and I am NOT

Lord I often forget that you are at the center of everything and I am not. I need to come to you in all things...big or small, to be faithful in prayer in every moment and know that you are God and I am NOT

Taking refuge in God

“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. For you bless the godly, O LORD; you surround them with your shield of love.”

Lord I want to take refuge in your presence, may your protection be over my life as I navigate through this world

Lord I often question myself and my ability to love and have mercy on others. Remind me each day through your love and mercy how you never cease to demonstrate to me your love and mercy.
