Thankful for the People God has placed in my life

Twinkies, you are a Special and a Marvelous Creation that I thank God for placing both of you in my life. There are not enough words to describe the joy God has created through your presence!!! Mommy loves you!! 

Increasing Faith

The apostles said to the Lord, “Show us how to increase our faith.” (Luke 17:5 NLT)

Lord I want more than anything to have Faith that is unwavering and increases with each passing day. Help me to teach the Twinkies that having Faith in you is always a guarantee 

Jesus is the entrance way..just believe

so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. (John 3:15 NLT)

Simple belief is all that God requires for eternal salvation. I am so grateful that I don't have to live up to some sort of standard to be welcomed into the gates of Heaven. Thank you Jesus that the entrance goes through you! 

God is faithful to bring you out of any situation

For the glory of your name, O Lord, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress. (Psalms 143:11 NLT)

Lord I trust you to bring me out of any problems that I face. I believe your grace and power is more than sufficient 

I want desires that last eternity

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. (Philippians 2:13 NLT)

God I want the desires of my heart to align with what pleases you! I want to change my ways to your ways. Help me desire things that are more valuable than things on earth! 

Wisdom guided knowledge of God

Wisdom is enshrined in an understanding heart; wisdom is not found among fools. (Proverbs 14:33 NLT)

Lord give me your wisdom that allows me to see you better. I don't want to live my life without your wisdom 

Trust God will bring physical healing to whatever physical pain you may have

I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 30:17 NLT)

 

I trust you Lord to heal me when I am not physically well!!! Thank you for the blood that cleanses all infirmity 

Let anger and hatred be extinguished when we trust in God

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. (Ephesians 4:31 NLT)

Lord teach me to use my words to build encouragement and not allow my words or thoughts jade my abilities to do your will

Grace is a free gift that we should be willing to give to others

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. (Ephesians 1:7 NLT)

Reminded on this day how God's grace has saved me. Lord remind me that the freedom that I have did not come without a cost

Be faithful

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13 NLT)

Don't give up on your dreams! Remain faithful and God answers prayers 

God is always listening

I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. (Psalms 17:6 NLT)

Lord you hear me even in my lowest moments. Remind me that you are always present! 

God's Grace

For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalms 84:11 NLT)

There is so much love that overflows from God that even in our lowest moments he never withholds anything 

God's mind is far greater than we could hope for

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. (Isaiah 55:8 NLT)

Thank you Lord that you can see past our limited understanding. Feeling so grateful that your ways far exceed what I believe is impossible 

God's Wisdom is far greater than we can imagine

“But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. (Job 12:13 NLT)

Thank you Lord that your wisdom is far greater than I can imagine!!! I am totally grateful to rely on you and not on my limited abilities!!  

Praising God because he is Worthy of all praise

Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! (Psalms 150:2 NLT)

Just thinking about how we should praise God in all circumstances just because he is Worthy of it! Thank you Lord for your blessings; No one can match your greatness 

Cleanse me Lord

How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. (Psalms 19:12 NLT)

Lord, allow my faults be brought to light and corrected by your grace! Help me see past my failures and remind me that you have always been there to help me through the hurdles 

Be anxious for God

You won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God. (1 Peter 4:2 NLT)

Lord if I am anxious about anything, let me be anxious about doing your will and not my own 

Blessings from God

With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful as you promised. (Psalms 119:58 NLT)

Lord, I want the blessings only you can give. Help me to trust you each day with all that you have blessed me with. Remind me that what I have is yours!!!

Practice does make perfect

Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart. (Psalms 119:34 NLT)

I want to practice each day your perfect way of living! Help me see past my faults and use your instructions as the light to my feet 

God chose you

The Lord replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose. (Exodus 33:19 NLT)

God has chosen you!!! God created you and chose a specific path for you! Don't let the worries of this world sway you from the path intended for you 

I want my life to be an example of seeking you

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7 NLT)

Lord I know when I seek you...the Gates of  Heaven are opened. I want to practice this process each day. Teach me on how to show the Twinkies what it looks like to seek you 

Waiting on God

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9 NLT)

Our timing never matches with God's timing, because we are an instant gratification society. I want to teach myself and the Twinkies that waiting on God is worth the wait

Living a life of thankfulness

As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should! (Psalms 119:7 NLT)

God I am thankful for your guidance and I am blessed with your gifts!! Help me demonstrate my appreciation by living a life pleasing to you! 

Guidance from God

for I am giving you good guidance. Don’t turn away from my instructions. (Proverbs 4:2 NLT)

God gives guidance when you ask for it. The voice might be soft and you might question is it really God, but stop and take a breath in of the Spirit and know that God will not lead you down the wrong path 

Choices are never easy

Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. (Proverbs 2:11 NLT)

God, Choices are difficult to make when I can't hear your voice. Help me be guided to make the right choice for this moment and every moment, so it brings glory to your name 

Victory in The Lord

You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. (Psalms 18:35 NLT)

There is victory in The Lord!! The only help that we should reach for is from God because he doesn't want or need anything in return for the help he provides. God supports us without even asking. He is the best type of bank there is; Gives away riches and doesn't require for the account to be refilled. 

Be focused on God and see how he will bless you

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT)

Lord I want to be humble in my life to bring glory to your name 

Living with integrity

and if you are pure and live with integrity, he will surely rise up and restore your happy home. (Job 8:6 NLT)

God thank you for your promises!! Teach me daily that living with integrity brings glory to your name 

Don't expect anything in return for a sacrifice

Offer sacrifices in the right spirit, and trust the Lord. (Psalms 4:5 NLT)

Don't expect anything in return for a sacrifice. The joy of knowing God's Spirit dwells in you, for your sacrifice was done with the right heart in which you sacrificed. God will never forget! 

Actions speak volumes

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37 NLT)

God teach me to have a heart that goes beyond the obvious! Allow me to dig deeper beyond my selfish nature and see the impact of my actions 

God always hears your prayers

I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. (Psalms 17:6 NLT)

God I know you hear my prayers. You listen when I am angry or sad. My prayers are my personal and direct line of communication to your heart!!! Teach me Lord to be patient when I become anxious, when I believe you haven't responded. Remind me that my prayers are never ignored
