We all need patience

God teach me patience; help me learn to wait and listen with all my heart. Lord you know that I have never been a patience person, so help me to choose a quiet mind and voice rather than arguing over every small detail 

How God sees forgiveness

Doesn’t he see everything I do and every step I take? If I have strayed from his pathway, or if my heart has lusted for what my eyes have seen, or if I am guilty of any other sin, (Job 31:4, 7 NLT)

Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. (Psalms 51:9-12 NLT)

When u wonder if forgiveness is truly forgiveness with no strings attached. Often times we don't allow ourselves to forgive or be forgiven but God promises so much for our lives through forgiveness 

Don't be a slave to the sin that is controlling you!! Become free!!

For you are a slave to whatever controls you. And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. (2 Peter 2:19, 20 NLT)

God I pray that when I sin and make wrong choices that I am able to learn from them and not become a slave to the sin or wrong action! I don't want to be controlled by anything or anyone! God help me see past the deceits and lies that lure us away from our best life possible that has been promised by you 

Don't give into temptations

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” (Matthew 26:41 NLT)

God help us when our emotions or even our minds try to justify doing something that is unhealthy or something that goes against the very Spirit of our soul. Show us how to pray through our temptations and follow your ways! 

God knows all things and all things have already be ordained, so have Faith in what he had already said with his words and actions!!!

So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said. (Acts 27:25 NLT)

Amazing that all it takes is just having FAITH, because God had already made it SO!! 

Ask God for his wisdom but don't waver on following through when you don't understand the response

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. (James 1:5, 6 NLT)

God wants your full attention...he expects it. You cannot ask for God's help and expect to do what you want. You either trust God wholeheartedly or not really at all. When you don't trust him with everything, you will find yourself in such turmoil! 

There is an enemy that you have to stand firm against

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith..........(1 Peter 5:8, 9 NLT)

Lord remind me that the devil is not fictional and he came to this world to destroy all things good and pleasing to you. Help me stand firm in My Faith and the strength through Christ's Blood!! All things will be made NEW!!! We don't have to believe in the lies of the enemy 

The reason I succeed is because of God's greatness within me

Be led by God and he will guard you

“I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, .......(Isaiah 42:6 NLT)

There is never a time that God is not in the lead role. I am thankful each day that he had already laid out my path and his promises remain true......my only job is to trust him!!!

Don't give up...be courageous and see God work through you!!!

“Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.....he will see it finished."(1 Chronicles 28:20 NLT)

God never starts something that he cannot finish.  My God is greater than all things and will see you through to the very end!

God's strong arm

But Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble. (Isaiah 33:2 NLT)

God what a great reminder how we can come to you with all of our fears and you will always protect us

God pours out his love when we least deserved it; so shouldn't we do the same for those we believed wronged us in some way? Because we all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory

The light will reveal all things. Let God's light shine on things in our lives we need to change 

Watch over us God; you never leave our side

God you are the Best guide to lead your people out from being strayed from their God given paths. You protect and comfort the lonely. Help me see that you never leave my side even in my lowest moments. Amen

God you have my destiny in your hands. Help me see past my own selfish desires and see the grand masterpiece that you have created me...allow me to feel in my heart there is more strength in me because I choose you!!! 

You can't repay the Gift that Christ gave up so freely

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. (Ephesians 1:7 NLT)

God there is nothing we can offer that will ever makeup or repay you for such a sacrifice....I guess that's why it's called a Gift, because you don't expect anything in return but ONLY to come to the cross with all our fears, joy, and dreams and lay them at the feet of Christ and SEE how he can change any circumstance for HIS glory!

Carry your cross

“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. (Mark 8:34 NLT)

Jesus was the perfect example of self sacrifice...,if I can only come remember each day this perfect example and how this life is the perfect life

Be encouraged that God's strength will sustain you

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NLT)

Thank you God that the Twinkies can rely on this Truth. Thank you that I can fly on this truth. Help me not be discouraged by the daily struggles if this world. Remind me to rely on your strength! 

God forgives like no other

God thank you for your son, Jesus, and his selfless sacrifice. Thank you for reminding me that I don't have to be stuck in my guilt because Christ has covered it all with sinless BLOOD

Be set free

God hear my cries, hear my praises, and hear me worship you with every aspect of my life! Rescue us when we fallen far away....bring me closer to you 

Plans that God holds in his hands

So he will do to me whatever he has planned. He controls my destiny. (Job 23:14 NLT)

God for those of us that struggle on this day to see your Great Plan..,remind us that you know "my heart, my soul, my mind and all that it holds..,you know where I am and where I have been and your know these eyes and all that they have seen....so Lord teach me to love you ALL the way!!" 

The lyrics in quotes remind me that God has and continues to always remain in control, even when I am out of control!! 

Don't worry about the thoughts or judgments of others

It might not be a matter of conscience for you, but it is for the other person.) For why should my freedom be limited by what someone else thinks? (1 Corinthians 10:29 NLT)

God help me to focus on what you think of me and my actions and not be worried by the standards of this world. All I need is to know my freedom should not be limited by others thoughts or feelings about me

Just say you are sorry and see God move mountains for you

But I confess my sins; I am deeply sorry for what I have done. (Psalms 38:18 NLT)

Sometimes we don't have the words to express our sorrow, but God accept whatever I have left and hear my simple plea! 

God is always there to catch me when I stumble

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. (Psalms 37:23, 24 NLT)

God you know my shortcomings; you have seen me stumble in countless ways....yet you are always their to catch me. I pray for healing and comfort. I pray all anxiety and fear from negative consequences does not touch my family or loved ones! 

Who controls whom?

You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.” (Genesis 4:7 NLT)

God I don't want to be controlled by the things of this world. I want to overcome my fears and flaws by trusting your promises. Don't allow me to believe in the lie that says it's impossible to change 

Freedom choices has consequences

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:13 NLT)

God help me see that freedom does not mean that you can do whatever you want without experiencing some sort of consequence; whether positive or negative consequence....freedom has always come with a price 

Living with a new heart and Spirit each day

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT)

God give me a new heart each and every day that represents the very best of your Spirit living within me. Help me when my choices dictate inappropriate behaviors. I want to live the words that you promise

God makes all things NEW!!!

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19 NLT)

God I trust that you make all things NEW! You are faithful in your promises; if we stray from your ways you always allow us to return to your open arms!!! Thank you for this free GRACE of forgiveness. 

Freedom from things that control you

They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you. (2 Peter 2:19 NLT)

God help me to become free from whatever I have allowed to control me. Give me strength and understanding to be willing to let go of the things that are unhealthy in my life
