He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!

Your power can heal the weakest of our moments and we may never understand why we experience the moment;  but should have have faith that you will never leave us

Don't be afraid to take the next step

Psalms 56:3 NLT

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

Lord sometimes my fear of the next right step has overwhelmed to the point of not moving at all. Allow me to see that my trust in you alleviates the fear that bubbles inside

Success

Deuteronomy 30:9 NLT

“The lord your God will then make you successful in everything you do......."

God promises us so much, but are willing to follow him to receive his promises?

Change my Heart

“The lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!

God I often find myself wondering what does it actually mean "to have lived? " I want to find the answer by always obeying your will and not doing it my way. Change my stubborn heart to listen when you speak

Trust in the powerful name of Christ

In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.

Lord I often lack focus in placing all my trust in you. I sometimes allow the circumstances of my life overwhelm me, but I have trust in your power.  Allow me tap into the strength that overcomes all

God is fully faithful

Psalms 40:11 NLT
Lord , don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.

God when I worry about the things around me, help me to stay focused on you because you remain fully faithful

Although we cannot see, God existed before time itself

Colossians 1:15-16 NLT
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—........

What a blessing to know that although I have never seen God in person, his Spirit lives within me.... the same Spirit that existed before time itself.  This is awesome power!!!

Wisdom vs Strength

Proverbs 24:5 NLT
The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.

So you can't have one without the other, but it appears if you have the wisdom to make good choices then your strength growing comes as an automatic benefit

Love the Lord with everything you have and all that you are

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NLT
The lord is our God, the lord alone.  And you must love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.

Lord, I want to love you with everything that I have and all that I am without any reservation.  The awesomeness of this command is the fact that you'll accept this love no matter where ever I am on my life journey

God carries our loads

The lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.

Lord no matter how much weight I have to carry, you are there to lift it off my shoulders and you actually carry the load for me. Remind me to focus on your power

God watches over you

“See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you."

God is always looking out for us! Remember that he is always near and watching every step

Controlled by the Spirit

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. (Romans 8:5 NLT)

Lord I want to be controlled by your Spirit. I want to remember that following you is no sacrifice because it's free of grace and mercy to follow your Spirit ways. Take away anything in my life that doesn't belong and I pray that my current circumstances do not overwhelm me 

There is nothing too small or too big that God cannot handle

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT)

God when I fail to trust in you because my small mind cannot see your hands do their work in each situation; help me turn away from this type of thinking and DECLARE that you are God and there is nothing too small or too big that you haven't already commanded!!!!

Pursue God

Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor. (Proverbs 21:21 NLT)

Lord remind me on what my focus should be. Help me stay away from false hope and ideas that don't honor you. Remind me to keep in pursuit of your ways so my life will demonstrate your blessings 

Rejoice in God

Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. (Psalms 63:7 NLT)

Thank you God that there is a reason to rejoice, that there is a reason to sing praises to your name, thank you for the small steps each day that I draw closer to you 

Exposure through God's WORD

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrews 4:12 NLT)

Often times we squirmish away from the power of God because we know that this power will cleanse all things, but sometimes we are not ready to give up the temporary to experience God fully. I pray Lord that you help me learn to LET GO the thoughts and desires that are not of you!!

Lord you are constantly thinking about me

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! (Psalms 139:17 NLT)

Lord if I ever question whether or not you think about me, I need to stop and remember there is not a moment in time that I am not being thought of by you! 

Happy Mother's Day

I have always tried my best to let wisdom guide my thoughts and actions. I said to myself, “I am determined to be wise.”  (Ecclesiastes 7:23 NLT)

Mothers are wise and helpful; they are a true extension of God's love. We are not perfect and stumble many times when it comes to raising children, but I believe God's purpose for mothers lies in the everyday moments of our kids' lives- to nag at their hearts for God, so our children know that there is no greater gift but to have God living in their heart

Stop and embrace the moment with God

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. (Colossians 3:15 NLT)

God thank you for just being the almighty creator. Remind me to stop in each moment to be filled with your peace and embrace all that you are in that moment 

Seek God instead of the world

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. (Colossians 3:2 NLT)

Lord I often find myself holding on to temporary things of this world instead of focusing my attention on you. Show me how to seek you instead of temporary things 

Praying to God and he listens

But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer. (Psalms 66:19 NLT)

Thank you God for always listening to me Lord when I pray 

My Hope is in your WORD!

I am worn out waiting for your rescue, but I have put my hope in your word. (Psalms 119:81 NLT)

Lord I lack patience many times...in a world of "hurry up" attitude; remind me to take a step back and find hope in the living, breathing, bread of life- which is your WORD! 

Restoration

I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. (Isaiah 57:15 NLT)

Restoration. Our hearts are heavy from all the worries and daily struggles of this life; yet he always brings restoration when we need a new start, a new day..a new plan. Continue to give hope God so I can see your plans during this time of restoration 

When we question WHY????

God in the mist of our pain we often question, WHY me? WHY now? Help me understand your purpose even though it makes no sense in my my closed mind. Allow your spirit to move within me to heal my unhealthy thoughts and bring peace to my mind about the unknown! 

Temptations

Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. (James 1:14, 15 NLT)

Lord we struggle daily with being part of this world and it's false hope. Help me see past the "temporary" to find you! 

Helping others

And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. (Hebrews 13:16 NLT)

Remember the people around you that need help

Winning through Love and truth

Love does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. (1 Corinthians 13:6 NLT)

Winning by truth and love 

Don't turn away from the help The Lord provides because you disagree on how The Lord chooses to implement the help you need

The lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalms 34:17 NLT)

Lord don't let me turn away from the help you provide. Although I may not understand the help you have given, help me it accept it willingly without question or apprehension.....you have never failed to meet me wherever I am at!
