Today is a day to give thanks and praise to the Heavenly Father above. thank you God for many blessings.& for all the things that you have given my family

Peace

Psalms 119:165 NLT

Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.

God by your Grace there is everlasting peace

No knowledge will bring about unnecessary mistakes

Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes. (Proverbs 19:2 NLT)

Lord help me to take time to see you in all things. Help me God to practice a life that is steady rather than super pace. I don't want to make mistakes because I am in such a rush to complete the tasks, instead of recognizing the importance of learning the process 

Lord is always on guard for those things and people that are precious to you

Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. (Psalms 16:5 NLT)

Lord help me protect those around me as you do.... With Love and grace. Allow my legacy to be more about you living through me rather than me boasting that I did it by myself 

God's grace

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT)

God's grace is sufficient for me! He works best in my weakness 

There is much happiness found in God!!

Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found. (Psalms 119:35 NLT)

Following your ways is where true happiness is found!! Allow me teach the Twinkies that happiness is not found in the materialistic things of this world 

Human weakness brings about God's unfailing strength

For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust. (Psalms 103:14 NLT)

 

This song verse below reminds me that God has always been in control.......from the very point of all existence!!

"I may be weak and my flesh may fail but you my God never will"

Being obedient to God comes with great reward

You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God: (Deuteronomy 28:2 NLT)

God remains faithful in his promises. Lord don't all me to forget the sacrifice for the blessings you have given. Remind me daily to teach the Twinkies that all blessings come from making right choices that honor God!! 

Clear conscience

Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. (1 Timothy 1:19 NLT)

God help me keep my mind and heart clear of things that bring destruction to my life. Help me recognize that my faith in Christ will endure through any circumstance. Teach me to remind the Twinkies how to practice a life of faith!

Faith in authority

Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful. (1 Corinthians 4:2 NLT)

God remind those in authority to be righteous and just in their decisions that effect others. Help me Lord to use my parental authority to bring glory to your name by demonstrating to the Twinkies that following you is the only way to go!!! 

God is our guard

He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. (Proverbs 2:8 NLT)

God is the ultimate guard of our paths 

No separation from God

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39 NLT)

Lord I am thankful that even through all my mistakes and all my shortcomings, you have promised not to separate yourself from me!! Remind each day that your love is that GRAND and ETERNAL!!

Be humble

The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged. (Psalms 69:32 NLT)

God teach us that being humble is not a sign of weakness but rather a symbol of strength, because it's when we are willing to put others before ourselves and care about the hurting world; this is when the most powerful strength that raised Jesus from the grave is able to shine through us! 

Being quiet before God

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. (Psalms 62:5 NLT)

Sometimes the best thing a person can do is just be quiet. We often speak before we think or we want to rush our actions before it is time! God remind me that there is peace and hope in the quietness 

God listens to prayers

In those days when you pray, I will listen. (Jeremiah 29:12 NLT)

God listens to prayers!!! I want to take time each and everyday to worship you in prayer 

Being thankful for victories; whether they are big or small

I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory! (Psalms 118:21 NLT)

Thank you God for answering prayers. thank you for always listening to my heart and helping me have victory over all my obstacles

Have faith in your heart

He made no distinction between us and them, for he cleansed their hearts through faith. (Acts 15:9 NLT)

God will change your heart through your faith. Trust that your heart will be managed by the ultimate provider 

We cannot live without the strength and protection of God

My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. (Psalms 71:7 NLT)

Lord, we live because you are the vital reason for each fear I overcome or for each mistake I rectify! Continue to be our focus and allow others to see my strength comes from you 

Treating others with Love shows God's love

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. (Galatians 6:10 NLT)

Treating people with love, demonstrates God's love within us!

There is no other Name

In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. (Psalms 33:21 NLT)

There is no other name than Jesus!! There is POWER IN YOUR NAME!!! 

Lord remember me when my sadness overwhelms me

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. (Psalms 56:8 NLT)

Lord, I am thankful that even in my sadness and my tears, you do not forget me! Help me overcome the things I do not understand. Praying for my cousin and her husband for a loss of a child

God's correction is not a sign of failure

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. (Hebrews 12:11 NLT)

Lord remind me that being corrected is not a sign of failure but rather an opportunity to grow and make positive changes to bring Glory to your name 

Love faithfully

The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. (Psalms 25:10 NLT)

Thank you God for your love and show me how to demonstrate this faithfulness of love in my everyday actions

Blessings when honoring God

You have endowed him with eternal blessings and given him the joy of your presence. (Psalms 21:6 NLT)

Lord the blessings you provide last for eternity and I am greatful for each and every gift that is given! Remind me that there is great peace in honoring you 

God wants our attention on him, even through our suffering

But by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer. For he gets their attention through adversity. (Job 36:15 NLT)

God when we suffer, we find ourselves searching for answers. Help me understand that you will rescue us and although we cannot comprehend the purpose; help me remain faithful in your ways!! Allow my attention to remain focused on you 

God gives prosperity like no other

Greed causes fighting; trusting the Lord leads to prosperity. (Proverbs 28:25 NLT)

Prosperity comes from God and there is nothing that man has that compares to what God can Give!!!

Total trust in God

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. (Psalms 56:3 NLT)

Thank you Lord for taking away all my fears! Remind me that total trust is found in your promises

Allow love to fill your heart

And do everything with love. 

(1 Corinthians 16:14 NLT)

God I want my heart to be filled with love. Please allow my actions express the same love you have shown me. Although we fall short from expressing this level of love, I want to spend my life learning how to express love freely without expecting anything in return!
