I have learned that submission is not a "negative" word; especially in reference to God. We often think when we submit to someone we are giving something up, but I would challenge this thinking by stating that submission is not giving something up, but rather giving into someone who knows more than you! I would rather submit to God and obtain his blessings, instead of holding onto things that never last!
