No fear of the future

Lord I want to live my life with NO fear of the future. I want to demonstrate total confidence in the God given strength that you provide each day to face the daily challenges of this world!! 

God's great power in your life

“Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power”

Ephesians 1:4, 19 NLT

Lord you are so worthy of my praises!! The same power that created me is the same power you provide each time you guide my steps towards a better path! I am in awe of your greatness, because even in my lowest moments....you always manage to demonstrate your great power 

Restore the sparkle to my eyes

“Turn and answer me, O LORD my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die. But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.”

Psalms 13:3, 5 NLT

Lord restore the desire of your unfailing love on days when I feel empty! Thank you for being the breath of life and I trust in your promises that I am rescued from my troubles 

Grow in grace

“Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.”

2 Peter 3:18 NLT

Lord help me grow each day. I want to strive to give the same level of grace you demonstrated on the cross to the people I interact with! Help me strive for a genuine heart! 

Don't be in a rush to get to the end

“We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.”

Psalms 39:6 NLT

Lord help me live a life that is not rushed. Guide me in a way that slowly breathes you in without trying to always beat those around me. Help me savor the sweetness of your presence without demanding I get to the end result. There is so much value in the journey! 

Be mindful before you speak

“The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking; the mouth of the wicked overflows with evil words.”

Proverbs 15:28 NLT

Lord remind me that my words have power and I want to use my words to encourage and not bring down. Help me check my words before I speak, so I practice a language of love and compassion 

Fight each day

“Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.”

1 Timothy 6:12 NLT

Lord each day I want to fight for something greater than myself. Help me see the injustices of this world and be willing to stand strong against the acts that don't demonstrate your love 

Being tired

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Galatians 6:9 NLT

Lord, often I feel tired with my daily tasks...I sometimes get discouraged when things don't work out like I planned! Help me see past these moments and remember that as long as I continue on...there is a reward for my efforts 

Lord gives his peace

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.”

2 Thessalonians 3:16 NLT

Lord I am grateful for a God who provides peace in all circumstances. Remind me to rely on your peace when I lack the understanding to grasp the situations I face each day

Don't let your daily worries crowd out God's message

“but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced.”

Mark 4:19 NLT

God often times we worry about the things of this world that have no lasting impact on our eternal life! Help me see the things and people that matter; show me to live a life of service and grace and know that all other things in this world have been taken care of 

Understand God's unfailing love

“Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.”

Deuteronomy 7:9 NLT

Lord I pray for your unfailing love that is past down through generations! Thank you for being gracious with your promises! I want to live each day knowing your love lives within me 

Commit and Stand firmly with God

“You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life......””

Deuteronomy 30:20 NLT

Lord the best life possible is to follow you in all my ways. Help me see that you have never lead me astray! 

Physical healing

“Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.”

Proverbs 3:8 NLT

Lord I pray for physical healing for those suffering from some sort of illness or for those trying to recover from an illness. Your power is infinite and touches beyond what the human can see! Allow this same power bring strength to a sick physical body

No measure of God's power

“These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?””

Job 26:14 NLT

There is no measure to the Lord's power. I am thankful that I able to see a glimpse of this power at work. Thank you Lord that this power sustains me through each hectic day

Waiting for God can be hard but totally worth it

“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.”

Lord thank you for the reminder that it's okay to be anxious at times because we know how hard it can be to wait on you, not because of lack of trust in you, but our human minds cannot comprehend the vastness of your timing and perfectness of your works. Help me see beyond my human timing and trust that victory always comes when we wait on you 

Daily courage...there is a greater plan to fight for

“Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety.”

Lord I want to have daily courage to stand up for the things that are worth fighting for. Help me give grace and forgiveness for people I know need it most!! 

Make great every opportunity and do it well

“Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.”

Ecclesiastes 9:10 NLT

Lord I want to make every effort to complete each act with love or any task I am responsible for, to do it well, knowing that you should be at the center of every action 

God given Beauty

“Your fame soon spread throughout the world because of your beauty. I dressed you in my splendor and perfected your beauty, says the Sovereign LORD.”

Ezekiel 16:14 NLT

Lord remind me and my Twinkies that beauty is only perfected by you. In a world that tends to see the outward appearance instead of the God given beauty; help us understand that beauty is NOT only the outside appearance but a deeper beauty is found within us that shines through the ugliness of the world. I want the impact of our beauty to go beyond our outside appearance but may others see the true beauty of God living within us 

The Lord's Favor

“May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’”

Each day Lord I want to give you thanks for your favor. I am truly blessed beyond measure, even through my doubts and complaints about not having enough...I realize I have far beyond what I could ever hope for. My relationship with you Lord, fulfills me beyond measure and I ask for your continued favor throughout my life and for my family and friends 

Spirit of Wisdom and Knowledge

“And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.”

Isaiah 11:2 NLT

Lean on the Spirit each day to lead your steps. Allow the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with overflowing love that only comes from God. I pray this love leads to God given knowledge and wisdom
