God cleanse our hearts to receive you fully. Help us see how to prepare how to continue to do the next right thing 

Family Focus

Love wisdom like a sister; make insight a beloved member of your family. (Proverbs 7:4 NLT)

Families are there to learn from each other and support each other. We cannot experience family support and famiky learning, without keeping wisdom and insight at the center of each family member. God help us see our family roles and help us embrace the characteristics that make a family strong

Don't be discouraged!!!

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NLT)

Be encouraged that God is always with you!!! Have no fear in any circumstance 

Don't forget the Lord's miracles

So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands. (Psalms 78:7 NLT)

Lord help me not to forget your gloriousness because I get too busy wrapped up in my daily tasks. Help me remember each blessing you have given!

Rest in God's power

Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. (Job 11:18 NLT)

God gives a rest from the worries of each day! Ask for God's guidance when you are tired....bathe in his power and see his glory bring a sense of rest and calmness to your Spirit

Life through God's WORD

Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word. (Psalms 119:37 NLT)

Lord teach us to see your WORD in living form. Allow us to experience the truths from your WORD and not only read them on paper

Remain Calm...The Lord fights for us

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” (Exodus 14:14 NLT)

What a great reminder that when everything around us appears out of control....God's simple instruction is to remain CALM!!! He will fight for us...what better companion can you have? 

Learn to Understand The Lord with all your heart!!

Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions. Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart. (Psalms 119:29, 34 NLT)

God help me see you each and every day! Help me to understand you Lord!!!

Blessings from God

With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful as you promised. (Psalms 119:58 NLT)

Lord it's so awesome to see your blessings unfold before my eyes. I want my heart to be filled with you! 

Relief from God

When the Lord saw their change of heart, he gave this message....“Since the people have humbled themselves, I will not completely destroy them and will soon give them some relief........

(2 Chronicles 12:7 NLT)

Lord thank you for being a God that brings relief and peace when we are not deserving! Help us understand how our hearts need to be humbled by even the smallest of victories each day! 

Don't let your faith waiver

Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. (1 Timothy 1:19 NLT)

God help me remember what it means to be faithful and not to doubt your promises. I am amazed daily that you have never waivered from your promises for my life. You are always faithful to me, why do I lack faith in you at times? 

Lord I need your restoration

The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. (Isaiah 58:11 NLT)

Lord restore me when I feel empty. Help me give even when I don't feel like I have anything else to give. Be the water I thirst for in a dry season of life. Show me to not count on my own will but to trust on yours

Having a Quiet Spirit

You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. 

(1 Peter 3:4 NLT)

 

Lord thank you for reminding me that being quiet is for my benefit. Help me see the same joy my Twinkies have in their heart when they are at unrest. They manage to remain with joy when I tend to freak out. God allow me to see you through the turmoil and trust that you always have a purpose that I may not see 

Thankfulness

Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. (Psalms 50:14 NLT)

Be thankful at all times for God's amazing power!!

Happy Father's Day

You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. (Luke 6:36 NLT)

Love your dad on this day and everyday!!! Remember that compassion comes from a father that demonstrated compassion on the cross 

Strength in God

The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. (Psalms 29:11 NLT)

Lord give peace when we don't know how to find it ourselves. Take away a heart that is not strong in you!!! I want to learn to let go of me and rely only on you! 

Remembering God for what he has already done in your life

Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. (Deuteronomy 8:18 NLT)

God knows the plans he has for you and he will give you success beyond your wildest dreams, as long as you continue to remember him! 

Safety under God's protection

Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. (Psalm 16:1 NIV)

God keep us safe when we are in unfamiliar areas! Guide us and have your Angels provide a blanket of protection with their wings! 

God is the Mighty Weight Lifter!!

The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. (Psalms 145:14 NLT)

God is a weight lifter!! God brings us out from the very mess that we sometimes create for ourselves! Trust that The Lord has always been willing to carry your load; he nailed the load to the cross! 

Allow God bring renewed strength when you are physically tired

With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. (Isaiah 35:3 NLT)

Lord when I am tired and physically exhausted...give me strength to move forward and not give up. 

Beauty should not be measured from this world

Lord remind my Twinkies that beauty 

should come from you and NOT from the world. Help me to teach the Twinkies that God's beauty is beyond measure and they are worth more than this world can offer 

Don't worry about what others say...always follow God's choices

But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.

Do not allow others dictate your choices of doing what is right. Don't allow others to convince you their way is better or faster or easier. Be prayerful and follow God's lead when you are not sure which choice to make. Listen to your Spirit!! Sometimes right choices come with pain and hurt, but in the end.....the right choice has the best rewards!!

God created best friends

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. (Proverbs 27:17 NLT)

God places friends in your life to share love and kindness!! God sends friends to help us through happy and sorrowful times!!! But best of all, God created best friends to demonstrate how relationships are suppose to be experienced!!! To my BFFs Liz and Sarah, God knew what he was doing by allowing us to be in each others lives!!! 

Be fearless, not fearful

The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? (Psalms 27:1 NLT)

There is nothing I should fear when God is at my side. Lord when we worry about the things that we cannot control; we demonstrate our doubt in your promises. Help us stay away from being afraid! 

Grow in knowledge that comes from God

The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger. (Proverbs 24:5 NLT)

Twinkies you are being promoted from the 5th grade today and it's absolutely amazing how God has used your skills and talents for his purposes!!! So very PROUD of you both! Thankful each day God has blessed me to be with you! With the knowledge that you obtain through your academic career.....know this one thing.....There is nothing in this world that can stop you from achieving what God has already planned for you!! Color the world with your love and people will see Christ at the center of your heart! 

God is The Beginning and the End

And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. (Ecclesiastes 3:14 NLT)

God remind me that You are the Beginning and the End!!! Help me see that there is more to my life than what my eyes can only see! Help me teach the Twinkies that your plans are worth waiting for 

Peace submission

“Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. (Job 22:21 NLT)

Submission is never easy; especially when you want to control your circumstances. But peace is found in submission 

Thankfulness for people in your life

Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. (Philippians 1:3 NLT)

God remind me throughout the busyness of my day; help me to remember to give thanks for those people you have put in my life that make this life richer!!!

Commit to God and See God's work

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. (Psalms 37:5 NLT)

Often times we don't want to let go of our control. It's during the times when I have let God control, God has been faithful! Commit all that you have and all that you are to God and see God bring blessings in your life that you have been yearning for! 

Be Spirit Led

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (Galatians 5:25 NLT)

Lord help me remember to listen intently to your Spirit.
