Allow God to work in you

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. (Philippians 2:13 NLT)

Lord although there will be times when I don't feel the mood to be my best, I am encouraged to know that you continue to work in me in ways that I don't understand. I want to continue to have faith that your workings are far better than my best efforts 

Patience in every moment

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. (Romans 15:5 NLT)

Lord I know I need a dose of your patience each day! I often find myself trying to rush through the day without savoring each moment in time like it might be my last. I don't want to live with what ifs or with regrets, so I pray that your patience fill me in every moment so I don't miss out what is in front of me 

Wisdom comes from fear of God

Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. (Proverbs 9:10 NLT

God I yearn to learn more about you each day! I understand that fearing you is not a scared tactic but a nessecity to find good judgment in completing everyday tasks 

Celebrate God

Rise up, O LORD, in all your power. With music and singing we celebrate your mighty acts. (Psalms 21:13 NLT)

God allow us not to forget why celebrate each day of life. Thank you for each special moment in each day. Remind me to see your acts that surround me and I should shout from the roof tops about how mighty you are! 

Turning to God for my joy

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, (Psalms 30:11 NLT)

Lord when we often feel sorrow or sadness I turn to you my Lord for my joy 

God's counsel

You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. (Psalms 73:24 NLT)

Lord as I make it through this life, I want to be reminded that my destiny is set and all I need to do is be guided by your wise counsel 

God is good

He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the LORD fills the earth. (Psalms 33:5 NLT)

God is always around. His presence fills the earth! Lord I want to hold onto this promise of love

Treasured Heart

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. (Matthew 12:35 NLT)

Lord remind me that my heart dictates my actions. Help me realize that my heart needs to be filled with your presence if I want to succeed with demonstrating a life that produces good things 

Being intentional with your words

Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. (Proverbs 18:20 NLT)

Sometimes we don't realize what power our words hold. I pray Lord that interpretations are not misunderstood when I attempt to use words to give general guidance or grace filled love. Help me use words to uplift the people around me

God does not withhold his grace

For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalms 84:11 NLT)

Thank you Lord for your continued blessings. Thank you for blessing me not based on my daily deeds but based on your grace, because I would surely be poor if it wasn't for your grace 

Allow your eyes to see the Light

“Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light. (Matthew 6:22 NLT)

Lord remind about the things I see each day! Help the reflection in my eyes show peace and mercy that only comes from you 

Depths of God's understanding

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. (Isaiah 40:28 NLT)

Thank you Lord for being all knowing and having the all wisdom to get me through this life to the next. Your understanding is far beyond anything that can be measured 

Even beauty needs direction

If you don’t know, O most beautiful woman, follow the trail of my flock, and graze your young goats by the shepherds’ tents. (Song of Songs 1:8 NLT)

Lord as women, there are often times when We believe that our beauty is enough to get us by, but remind us to teach our younger generations about the importance of beauty of the heart instead of focusing on the outside appearance!!!! 

Continue to grow

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7 NLT)

Allow each day be built on your foundation Lord. Sometimes I forget that your solid foundation does not break. I want to continue to dig deeper each day so when I fall...I know I can always get up and keep trying and learn a new lesson 

Being intentional with my thoughts

May all my thoughts be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the LORD. (Psalms 104:34 NLT)

Lord it's hard to make myself focus on thoughts that are pleasing to you when my mind is filled daily of my selfish ways. Help me on this day to fill my thoughts of you and your greatness 

All I need is you Lord

and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. (Acts of the Apostles 17:25 NLT)

Lord there is no greater need than you! I want each day to be about you and my need to draw closer to you 

Noise reduction

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. (Psalms 62:5 NLT)

Lord help me each day to practice the art of reducing the noise around me. Allow me to quietly search for your voice in all the chaos and daily grind of life, 

Find God's love in everyday actions

“I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me. (Proverbs 8:17 NLT)

Finding God through the love! If you are wondering where God can be found...,search for love in the everyday actions of others and in yourself and you'll find him

Virtues to aspire to have

She is energetic and strong, a hard worker. She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. (Proverbs 31:17, 25 NLT)

Lord I want to live each day as a woman having noble character! I want to be fearless about my path because I know that you direct my ways! Help me be an inspiration for the Twinkies so they see the value with having these virtues 

Our thoughts can be our biggest enemy

Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. (Ephesians 4:23 NLT)

God help me recognize the thoughts that flood my mind. Help me see that these thoughts dictate my attitude. I want my thoughts to be filled with your grace and with your servant's heart
