Follow where the Lord leads you

Lord help me to listen for your directions and to follow when you lead instead of trying to do it my way 

An heir to the kingdom of God

“And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.”

Galatians 3:29 NLT

Lord thank you for your promise of being an heir to your kingdom. I am encouraged to know that I will one day see the promises fulfilled of your true love of the faithful. 

Troubles will fade away when you follow the Lord

“Joyful are those you discipline, LORD, those you teach with your instructions. You give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug to capture the wicked.”

Psalms 94:12-13 NLT

Lord teach me your ways daily. Show me how to be disciplined so my troubles can fade away

The Lord is steadfast and never changes

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”

James 1:17 NLT

Trust in the gifts provided by God. Remind me Lord that you are steadfast and never change. 

Love always endures and wins

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

1 Corinthians 13:7 NLT

Lord remind me of the love that comes from you. Show me how to love this way each day. Remind that love always wins and helps me through every life circumstance

Faith will make you righteous

“So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.””

Galatians 3:11 NLT

Nothing on in earth can make me right with God. I want my faith to demonstrate how God will make me right 

Perfect peace with God

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”

Isaiah 26:3 NLT

Lord help me keep my focus on you to experience perfect peace. Allow my thoughts to be overwhelmed with your presence daily 

Everlasting love through every circumstance

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

James 1:12 NLT

Lord I want to endure through each life test and know I'm a better person because I believed in your promise of everlasting love through every circumstance 

Following God's heart

“So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.”

James 1:21 NLT

Lord I want to accept the truth of your Word. Help me see that this truth can save me. Help me live a life that follows my heart 

Seek God's kingdom above all else

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Matthew 6:33 NLT

Lord I want to seek you! I want to live a life seeking your kingdom and hold on to the the promise that you are all I will ever need 

Keep the faith and endure through it

“But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, and my endurance.”

2 Timothy 3:10 NLT

Lord give me a daily reminder with the purpose of my life....Help me to keep the faith and to have patience in all my activities and especially to continue to endure through it all 

Contentment with your life

“Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.”

1 Timothy 6:6 NLT

Lord teach me to be content with the blessings in my life. Show me to live a life with eternity in mind 

The Lord will never abandon you

“The LORD will not reject his people; he will not abandon his special possession.”

Psalms 94:14 NLT

Lord I often place so much value on earthly items, but help me to seek your kingdom first and recognize that you will never abandon me.

The Lord is with you even in your doubts

“I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”

Psalms 94:18-19 NLT

Lord in my doubt you are there for me! Remind me of your unfailing love and support when I slip. Show me how to continue on when I fail to meet my goals

Peace with living every life moment with no fear

“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”

Colossians 3:15 NLT

Lord allow me to live in peace with every decision I make in life. Help me not regret choices but live fully with every life moment good or bad 

We are God's masterpiece

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Ephesians 2:10 NLT

What a great reminder that we are God's masterpiece! Lord I am thankful that I am created in your image. Show me how to live a life planned specifically for me

Focusing on God in the quiet moment

“And this righteousness will bring peace. Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever.”

Isaiah 32:17 NLT

Lord in the stillness of the moment, teach me to be quiet and to listen to your ever confident voice. Help me to focus on the moment 

Praying through each moment in life will bring healing

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

James 5:16 NLT

Lord teach me to rely on prayer. Help me to understand that prayers bring me closer to your presence. I want to pray through each moment. 

Living securely with God

““But now we have been given a brief moment of grace, for the LORD our God has allowed a few of us to survive as a remnant. He has given us security in this holy place. Our God has brightened our eyes and granted us some relief from our slavery.”

Thank you Lord for giving grace and allowing us to dwell in your security. Thank you for showing us how to live securely in your ways 

God's strength will sustain you

“I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.”

Lord your strength sustains me! Your strength shields me! I want to lean on your strength when I lack any of my own
