God's timing not our timing

Lord thank you for the reminder that your timing is perfect and so when I am impatient, help remind me that your timing has a purpose to bless me and not bring harm 

Giving up my life to God

“O LORD, I give my life to you.”

Psalms 25:1 NLT

Lord my prayer today is to give up my life to your will each day! Help me yield to your daily instruction and live each day with a reckless abandon to the things of this world so I seek your promises first 

Be courageous and have hope

“So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD!”

Psalms 31:24 NLT

Lord I am reminded daily to put my hope in you and when I do....I know that my strength grows. Thank you for each day that you guide me by helping me be courageous to face the day's challenges 

Never doubt God's word

“For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything he does.”

Psalms 33:4 NLT

God thank you for the truths we find in your Word! Your life is the Word and I am glad we have a guide that that shows us the way to live each day

Prayers that are heard by God

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

James 5:16 NLT

Lord allow the prayers for my friends and family be heard! Allow those that I am surrounded by be blessed and may they feel your presence! This is my prayer for their lives

Make every moment count

“Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.”

Lord I want each day to begin and end with you. Help me make every moment count for something that is greater than myself. Thank you for all the moments that make up my life 

God is everything good about my life

“He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the LORD fills the earth.”

Thank you Lord for everything good in my life. I want to praise you in all things and in all ways 

The way I want to live

“Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”

Colossians 1:10 NLT

My prayer Lord is to live each day that honors you. To live a life that becomes closer to you you each day 

Commitment to always listen to God

“Commit yourself to instruction; listen carefully to words of knowledge.”

Proverbs 23:12 NLT

Lord give me the commitment to always be willing to listen to you and not follow my own ways! Thank you for never leading me astray 

The right encouraging words

“For the LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

Proverbs 2:6 NLT

Lord often times I find myself tongued tied and speechless to provide encouraging words, but I want to strive daily to have the Holy Spirit be able to speak through me, not only with my words but my actions. I pray that you lead me to speak words that come from you, especially when I am at a loss for words

Keep focused on God's peace and remain thankful

“Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”

Colossians 3:2, 15 NLT

Lord remind me to place in my heart a peace and understanding that comes from you. Everyone struggles each day with their circumstances but I pray we remain focused on you and give you praise even through the trials 

Reassured with God's strength

““O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!”

Jeremiah 32:17 NLT

Lord I am encouraged that I can rely on your strength in my time of need; there is nothing that you cannot handle...with the very existence of life being created by your breath alone, how can I not trust this strength and power? 

Life with Christ

“For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.”

Colossians 3:3 NLT

Lord I am grateful for a life lived in your presence. Often times, I know I forget to give you praise just for the very life you created within me....for I know that living is not merely my physical body being present on this earth, but the impact of my heart and mind that you allow to live through your promises 

Give grace

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”

Colossians 3:13 NLT

Lord remind me of grace each day that I need and grace that I need to give 

Confess your mistakes and get closer to God

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. (1 John 1:9 NLT)

Thank you Lord for always willing to forgive my mistakes, even when I find myself falling for the same ones. Help me see past the error of my ways and lead me on a path that I know that brings me closer to you 

Living in God's favor

May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ (Numbers 6:26 NLT)

Lord thank you for giving me favor so my days are light and filled with peace. I know life is not lived everyday with this type of lightheartedness but I pray when I experience these days, that I don't take them for granted 

Happiness found in God

I am very happy now because I have complete confidence in you. (2 Corinthians 7:16 NLT)

Lord my happiness is found in you!! Each day I am thankful for the happiness I find in my heart. Allow the center of my happiness always be filled with God's love 

I can face the days worries with God on my side

The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalms 34:17 NLT)

Lord thank you for rescuing me each day from the troubles I may face or the worries of the day! 

Seek God first and see how he provides

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

Lord thank you for the reminder to seek you first in all things....for I know I never have to worry about the tasks of each day! 

Fixed thoughts on God

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (Philippians 4:8 NLT)

Lord help me fix my thoughts that are worthy of your praise, take away thoughts that would hinder my mind on focusing on your promises. Help me see that my thoughts are directly correlated to my heart...so what it's in my heart directly impacts my thoughts, allow my heart be filled with love and compassion so my mind follow suit

Being thankful that God is always near

We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near. People everywhere tell of your wonderful deeds. (Psalms 75:1 NLT)

Lord each day is a blessed day, no matter what my circumstance, I want to give you thanks everyday! I want to praise you because you deserve it. I am thankful for each new day. Help me take advantage of each opportunity
