Being transformed

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2 NLT)

God change me each day to move towards being the best ME I can be. I want my thoughts to be linked with you so my choices reflect your perfect ways. 

Continue to be disciplined

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. (Hebrews 12:11 NLT)

Lord it's often difficult to live a life making right choices because the right choices are sometimes not the easiest road to take, but remind me that the rewards far outweigh the struggles! 

Something worth fighting for

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12 NLT)

Lord thank you for the strength to fight each day! I am grateful for your truths...help me see them and live by them with earnest fire 

Healing

Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. (Proverbs 3:8 NLT)

Lord my body is a temple created by you. Remind me that how I treat and care for my body is a representation on how we should honor your creation. Help me be mindful for what I put into my body, how I take careful notice of my mind, body, and soul. Should I be ill in any of these areas then give me the reminder that you are the ultimate HEALER

Guidance

even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. (Psalms 139:10 NLT)

Lord a simple truth, a simple touch of your hand and I am pointed in the right direction. Help me feel this gentle nudge in order to be aware of your guidance in all areas of my life

Praising God with everything within us

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.  (Psalms 68:19 NLT)

God deserves all the praise we can give! I am thankful that by praising his name, he is pleased to know that I have trust in his promises and God is worthy of any praise I can offer. God rejoices in our praises-we have fellowship with him by honoring him with all we have within us to offer 

Being Awe of God's greatness

“How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you! (2 Samuel 7:22 NLT)

Everyday when we wake, the first thoughts in our mind should just be filled with the aweness of God

Getting rid of the junk in our lives

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. (James 1:21 NLT)

Lord help me see the things in my life that would hinder me from experiencing my best life possible. Take away all that corrupts my spirit. I want to live in a way that pleases you each day 

Victory with God

You have given me your shield of victory; your help has made me great. (2 Samuel 22:36 NLT)

Lord your victory is the promise I hold onto. The daily battles I fight each day are not by myself; you are always with me. Remind me how each battle is significant for your kingdom and fighting with you by my side is a guarantee I will not lose 

Be filled with God's unfailing love each day

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. (Psalms 143:8 NLT)

God my prayer each day is to follow your ways and not worry about the daily grind of life. Help clear my mind to be filled with your truths and not the lies of others 

Praying through each day

In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. (Jeremiah 29:12-13 NLT)

Lord when I come to you each day, you meet me where I am at! Thank you for listening to me when I come to you in prayer. 

Lord will give you strength and peace

The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalms 29:11 NLT)

Lord each day I need a renewal of your strength and your peace! There are days I feel like I can conquer the world and other days I feel like I can barely move! I am encouraged by your promise to provide strength when I lack it and peace when I need it 

Dependence on God

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT)

Lord I am reminded that I can depend on you for all things, big or small. Show me how this dependence is not a sign of weakness but rather a beautiful attempt of growth in my daily walk with you 

God's way is always perfect

“God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. (2 Samuel 22:31 NLT)

Lord I need to be reminded of your perfectness each day!! Thank you for each day that you make according to your perfectness 

Everything begins and ends with God

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” (Revelation 1:8 NLT)

One of my favorite verses in the Bible. This is a constant reminder that God is absolutely everything. There is nothing in this life that he does not already know or has not already created. I am in awe of God's absolute power and with this same power he protects me each day through all my circumstances 

Great power comes from God

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. (Isaiah 40:29 NLT)

Lord there is power in your name! Thank you for providing when I am empty. Continue to provide strength when I face my daily battles 

Improving each day by God's guidance

“I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things. (Revelation 2:19 NLT)

Lord I try to improve each day, but often fail. I am grateful for your grace and mercy each day that covers all my mistakes. Help me not repeat the mistakes of my past but move toward with endurance 

Hope during the toughest times

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NLT)

Lord I realize without hope there is only despair. Help me live a life that trusts you in all things especially when I don't necessarily feel the peace and comfort immediately 

Don't allow your limitations keep you from God

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. (Jude 1:24 NLT)

Lord I am greatful that my limitations do not keep me away from your presence! Thank you for leading me down a path that you know will bring great joy 

Worries will fade away

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7 NLT)

Lord thank you for taking away all the worries of each day! I trust in your promises that the worries of this world will soon fade away
