Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant are never at rest. They open their mouths as wide as the grave, and like death, they are never satisfied. In their greed they have gathered up many nations and swallowed many peoples. (Habakkuk 2:5 NLT)
We need reminders that money on earth is only worth what we put value to. Imagine if our value was in more than an idea that paper can buy us things but that wealth is achieved when we spend time with family and help our neighbors through any issue. I need constant reminding not to store up riches on earth but trust there are greater rewards in Heaven. Be good stewards of God's gifts and resources!
