God sees you through his eyes and not through others

Thank God that he sees Christ living in me. Grateful that I am cleansed by his blood. So thankful God doesn't listen to mankind's report of each other's actions but that everything is seen by him already. 

Your heart matters!!!!

Therefore, change your hearts and stop being stubborn. (Deuteronomy 10:16 NLT)

Lord help me see the ways of my actions that are not pleasing to you! Change my heart for things that matter to your kingdom. Help me to teach the Twinkies that "heart" issues matter. Help them learn to guard their heart with your grace and mercy! 

Jealousy breeds disorder

For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind. (James 3:16 NLT)

Lord help me teach the Twinkies not to covet what they don't have or to be jealous because someone has something bigger and better than they do. Give us a humble heart for the blessings we do have and help us share our blessed fortunes with others (whether this be blessings of wealth, intelligence, or material items) we can learn so much more when we share what is not ours in the first place....It all belongs to you anyways!!!

God's happiness

So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. (Ecclesiastes 3:12 NLT)

Too often God gets a bad image that he doesn't want us to have fun or be happy. Oh how wrong we are to ever believe that the God of Joy, doesn't want us to experience happiness in our lives. The happiness God wants us to experience should not bring pain or sorrow after we experience it! Remember the kind of happiness that will last for eternity, instead of the happiness that will only last  for your life time on earth 

A time to search and a Time to stop searching

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to search and a time to quit searching. (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 6 NLT)

Our time needs to align with God's time! I know I have searched for things that I think I need or want, but God reminds me that I don't always have to be in search mode, when I have had what I needed all along in front of me. I am thankful Lord just for the very life you have created in me. 

Comfort from God

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. (Psalms 94:19 NLT)

Lord your comfort allows me to feel the depth of your Love, when my mind plays tricks on me. We sometimes listen to lies instead of feeling your truth wrap its power around our bodies. Give us comfort and hope when we doubt your ways!! 

God's Power

I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:5 NLT)

God's power is more than sufficient to sustain me! I pray Lord that I tap into your power and not be fooled by human wisdom and all its flaws. Trusting God to deliver me from any circumstance by his power
