Follow where the Lord leads you

Lord help me to listen for your directions and to follow when you lead instead of trying to do it my way 

An heir to the kingdom of God

“And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.”

Galatians 3:29 NLT

Lord thank you for your promise of being an heir to your kingdom. I am encouraged to know that I will one day see the promises fulfilled of your true love of the faithful. 

Troubles will fade away when you follow the Lord

“Joyful are those you discipline, LORD, those you teach with your instructions. You give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug to capture the wicked.”

Lord teach me your ways daily. Show me how to be disciplined so my troubles can fade away

The Lord is steadfast and never changes

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”

James 1:17 NLT

Trust in the gifts provided by God. Remind me Lord that you are steadfast and never change. 

Love always endures and wins

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

1 Corinthians 13:7 NLT

Lord remind me of the love that comes from you. Show me how to love this way each day. Remind that love always wins and helps me through every life circumstance

Faith will make you righteous

“So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.””

Galatians 3:11 NLT

Nothing on in earth can make me right with God. I want my faith to demonstrate how God will make me right 

Perfect peace with God

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”

Isaiah 26:3 NLT

Lord help me keep my focus on you to experience perfect peace. Allow my thoughts to be overwhelmed with your presence daily
