Your hard work is always rewarded

Lord I often don't get to see the fruits of my labor being a social worker because time passes and the outcomes of those I attempted to help are far from my reach. I want to continue to be strong and courageous for the work you have called me to do in my life. Help me not to be selfish, help me to push forward and have faith that there is always a reward I the end, even if I can't see it 

Seek God for his strength

“Search for the LORD and for his strength; continually seek him.”

1 Chronicles 16:11 NLT

Lord I want to seek you each day and lay my worries at your feet! I want to know without a doubt that your strength will sustain me throughout eternity! I love that my relationship with you is mutual and as much as I yearn for your presence, I am comforted to know that you want me to call out and seek you 

Freedom wherever God is at

“For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

Lord thank you for freedom from every transgression. Thank you for a life filled with your Spirit

Determined to follow the Lord's steps

“We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.”

Proverbs 16:9 NLT

Lord I want each step I take to be made in the direction of your plans and not my own. Often I think I know what is best for my life and forget to involve you in my plans, so help me ensure that my plans involve your steps of grace, wisdom, and forgiveness 

Exhibiting unfailing love and faithfulness

Lord I want to live a life free of guilt and shame! Help me see how unfailing love and faithfulness will bring me closer to you

Trust God's Word because it is everlasting

God your Word is living and breathing proof that your promises will withstand the test of time! Help me to follow the Word and understand all the promises written in the Word

Find rest in the Lord

Lord there are days I am so tired that I don't feel like moving forward. I want to find rest in your presence. Help build my strength to tackle each moment in life
