Living purely

“Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor—

Lord my prayer is to life a life pure in heart and conviction! I ask for Holy Spirit guidance in my daily decisions that my thoughts are pure and filled with your grace. Allow NO negative thought bring destruction to your plans. Help me uplift those around me by being pure with my intentions 

Hard work

“Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave.”

Proverbs 12:24 NLT

Lord help me see that my hard work is always rewarded and recognized by you! I don't need the approval of this world but need to know that you approve of me and my actions 

Listen for God's voice

“Listen to me; listen, and pay close attention.”

Isaiah 28:23 NLT

Lord I need to stop and truly listen to you! I need to be slow to speak and quick to listen and pay close attention. We often miss the best advice and gifts just because we are rushed to get to the next step...help me not to miss the best advice or gifts because I fail to listen 

God holds everything together since he is the beginning and the end

“He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.”

Colossians 1:17-18 NLT

Lord you are the beginning and the end! I will not fear for I know you have everything under your control! I am encouraged to trust your every move although I often times don't understand your ways...but thank God I don't because I have been blessed with an adventure beyond my wildest dreams 

Patience...finishing what you have begun

“Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride.”

Ecclesiastes 7:8 NLT

Lord thank you for daily patience! Help me when my flesh would rather scream and kick about how unfair life can be but you remind me that finishing is always better than starting. There is always a reward in perseverance 

Be BOLD

“Since this new way gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.”

2 Corinthians 3:12 NLT

Each day presents a new challenge to conquer! I pray for guidance and strength that the Twinkies capture the essence of of each day and fulfill the promises God has for their lives. 

No fear of Future thinking

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

Proverbs 31:25 NLT

Lord each day is filled with wonders that lead to moments in time in the future that will impact our lives and give us hope for living for something beyond ourselves. I want to live each day with no fear of the future. Help me to teach the Twinkies this important life lesson
