God's Spirit is always near

I will pour out my Spirit upon all people...... (Joel 2:28 NLT)

Lord thank you for your promise of always being near me through your Spirit. Help me see that you never leave my side. 

God is our shield

God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right. (Psalms 7:10 NLT)

God is the ultimate shield of anything evil. To keep the heart protected I need to remember to use God as he intended as my guide so my heart is not corrupted by the things of this world. Lord help me keep my heart on a path always leading to you 

Get rid of all fear

Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” (Isaiah 35:4 NLT)

Lord there are times in our lives that our personal fears would try to overwhelm the truths we have placed in our hearts. Remind us each day that fear is only perceived because your truths tell me I have nothing to fear in this life 

Promise of guidance

“With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home. (Exodus 15:13 NLT)

Thank you Lord for the promise of guiding my heart to the promiseland, I am truly blessed by each step you allow me to take. I might fall and make the wrong choices but I know you have never abandoned me

Dependence on God

The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. (Lamentations 3:25 NLT)

The Lord requires us to depend on him; it shows an act of faith and not cowardness. He wants us to search his purposes each day and know deep in our hearts that our dependence on him will bring complete joy in our lives 

Struggling

We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it. (Philippians 1:30 NLT)

Lord each day can be a struggle....some days are worse than others and yet there are days where I have no struggles. Whatever the circumstance give me the wisdom to know that even in the mist of whatever struggle....big or small...you will see me through it 

Thankful for every detail

The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psalms 37:23 NLT)

Lord I am thankful that each detail of my life is not insignificant but rather you cherish every moment. Remind me Lord to allow you to share in my moments-whether they are happy or sad....because I know that you desire my heart to be shared with yours! Thank you for every detail in my life
