Heart Matters

And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, (Ezekiel 11:19 NLT)

Lord I want a heart filled with your grace and mercy. I want a Spirit filled heart to show the Twinkies that its their heart that opens the door to their Spirit. 

Humble yourselves

But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Matthew 23:12 NLT)

God remind me that being humble is exactly what Christ did for me on the cross.....A King in all your glory, to come off your throne and choose to save me!!! This is the ultimate act of humility. Teach me to lead my life humbly and not to desire things of this world, but to desire things that last forever!! 

Our prayers are always heard

I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! (Psalms 116:1, 2 NLT)

God it's difficult sometimes to stop and just take a breath of you...even though I know you are the very essence of life; I often find myself getting caught up with the busyness of daily tasks that I don't make the effort like I should to spend time with you. Even when I am preoccupied with my own stuff, you always manage to take the time and effort to get my attention.....it's only Right that I do the same with my creator 😊

God's strength allows your children to receive blessings

For he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within your walls. (Psalms 147:13 NLT)

God's protective strength allows me to release any fears about my Twinkies' future blessings and it allows me to focus on their current blessings that God has already given 

Spirit guided opportunities

Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. (Colossians 4:5 NLT)

We will be faced with opportunities that we might not be sure how to respond, but allow the Spirit to give you wisdom in each circumstance; so you are not led down the wrong path 

Living by the Spirit through Faith

But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us. (Galatians 5:5 NLT)

God's promises are true!! By faith, I know my life is in God! I want me and my family to be Spirit led
