Find rest in the Lord

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

Lord there are days I am so tired that I don't feel like moving forward. I want to find rest in your presence. Help build my strength to tackle each moment in life 

Filled with God's grace

“For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.”

1 Thessalonians 2:4 NLT

Lord examine my heart and ensure that my motives are pure and filled with your grace. Remind me that we all make mistakes and trying to live up to an expectation of perfectness is setting me up for failure. I rather just focus on you and know you better each day 

God will sustain you

“For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being. “But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.”

Job 12:10, 13 NLT

God we need to trust you in every moment!!! We need to trust you with every breath and know without a doubt that your wisdom will sustain me

The Lord is faithful throughout the generations

“Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.”

Deuteronomy 7:9 NLT

Lord you are faithful throughout the generations. Thank you for your promises  and your unfailing love. 

Lord guides and supports

“even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.”

Psalms 139:10 NLT

Lord I want to know deep within me that I can trust in your guiding hand and the strength of your love....show me ways to guide and support the same to others 

The Lord's everlasting love

“But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.”

Psalms 13:5 NLT

Thank you Lord for saving me with your everlasting love! I want to praise you all the days of my life 

Be Spirit led

“So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.”

Galatians 5:16, 25 NLT

Lord I want to be Spirit led. I want my life to focus on you and your glorious nature. I want to live a life filled with your presence in each moment of my life
