Be comforted when in doubt

Lord when I find myself falling and doubting...I pray for your comfort...I pray that you guide me through each circumstance with a renewed hope in a better life 

Sometimes we have to be broken

The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. (Psalms 51:17 NLT)

Lord although we wish life circumstances could be perfect, I am thankful for brokenness because in these moments I know I am closer to you than I realize. The breath of God is so near touching my face and whispering in my ear that there would be no other place I rather be than broken in your presence 

Even in my weakness God shows his strength

He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever. (Psalms 136:23 NLT)

Even in my weakness the Lord manages to always show his strength. Whatever battle you face today and you have no more strength.....know that God's love will sustain you

Humility with your heart

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. (James 4:10 NLT)

God show me the direction of humility. Help me humble my heart and demonstrate the fruit of love and forgiveness 

Calmness through our daily affairs

For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT)

To be truly calm over our circumstances requires release over all our control. I am reminded that God takes pleasure In handling our daily affairs if we allow him to move freely without getting in the way

Be joyful for God is enough to satisfy every desire

You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. (Psalms 63:5 NLT)

Some days just require that we sing praises of joy for each blessing. I know I often forget to be joyful for what I already have because I am focused on what I hope to have! It's good to know that God is more than enough to satisfy every desire so we should be joyful each day! 

Grace promise

Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. (Titus 3:7 NLT)

Grace promise!! Grace is the most valuable asset we possess but we often forget that we have this very important commodity. With grace, lives can be changed, hurts can be forgiven and peace can be found. The only reason that we are allowed to possess such an important gem is because God gave grace first-free of charge with no strings attached when his son Jesus spread his arms across a cross to take every sin away!
