God's insight is the only way to wisdom

Those who trust their own insight are foolish, but anyone who walks in wisdom is safe. (Proverbs 28:26 NLT)

God there are many times I rely on my foolish thinking. I try to justify my unhealthy choices as life lessons, but in reality there are many things in this world you would spare me from, but yet I still choose things that bring destruction to my life instead of listen to your wisdom. Help me see the unhealthy decisions and move towards a way of thinking that honors your way of life!!! 

God has remained faithful even when I have not

But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! (John 15:7 NLT)

God I hear your words in my heart and my soul; yet my mind chooses to be disobedient at times. The consequences are so Grand that in the moment of disobedience I am not thinking about the consequences but only my selfish desires. Help me overcome the things I am so weak to handle by keeping your words instilled in my heart!!

Be patient and pray through the darkness

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. (Romans 12:12 NLT)

God help me....help me see past the darkness, so the truth comes out 

Not doing right by God

Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves...... (1 Corinthians 6:9 NLT)

God help me realize my mistakes even as I do them; help me be strong and turn around the other way. Give me peace and comfort where it is lacking 

I want to meditate on God's promises

I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. (Psalms 63:6 NLT)

God when I think of you and spend my time in your presence. you help me with making the tough decisions and put me on the right path. Help me see past my selfish desires

Being humble

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (Philippians 2:3, 4 NLT)

God uses humbleness to not thinking less of yoyrself but thinking of yourself less

Blessings are found in God's presence and not in our possessions or status

You have endowed him with eternal blessings and given him the joy of your presence. (Psalms 21:6 NLT)

Lord remind me that my blessings are beyond measure. Remind me when I am too quick to complain or judge because something doesn't go my way.,.,remind me that my blessings come from you and not of this world. 

I want your blessings to outshine anything my human hands can create. Remind us that our blessings are found in your presence!
